Exercise 4: Setiap kalimat di bawah ini mengandung satu atau lebih present participle. Periksalah apakah kalimat di bawah benar (CORRECT) atau salah (INCORRECT).

*penjelasancorrect, 1. The companies offering the lowest prices will have the most customers.kalimat tersebut benar karena telah memiliki satu subject (companies) dan satu verb (will have). Sedangkan offering merupakan present participle bagian dari adjective sehingga penggunaannya telah tepat.
incorrect, 2. Those travelers are completing their trip on Delta should report to Gate Three.kalimat tersebut salah karena memiliki extra verb (were completing dan should report). Completing adalah present participle bagian verb karena diikuti oleh tobe are sebelumnya. Agar kalimatnya benar sebaiknya are dihilangkan agar completing menjadi sebuag adjective.
